Most people have heard of a Hibachi portable grill. And, although they have been around for years,

they are still very popular with many people because of the great things about them - like their portability and convenience. And, the fact that their set up makes it possible to easily cook foods like vegetables, meats and more, while still retaining that delicious charcoal flavor that most people love. Here are just a few suggestions of what you can cook on them:

Asian stir fry - Probably one of the most well-known uses of the Hibachi portable grill is for cooking Asian-style cuisine. You can use yours to make such scrumptious dishes as chicken or beef teriyaki.

In order to do this, you just take strips of meat that have been marinated in sauces made of things like garlic, sweet onion and teriyaki seasoning, and then grill each side of the meat until it has cooked through. You can then serve the meat up with any type of vegetable you like. Moreover, some people like a crisper, fresher taste to their vegetables, so to achieve this, simply grill your greens lightly on each side, instead of cooking them all the way through.

Kebabs - Another great idea for table top grilling is the ever popular "Kebab". An item that can either be served as a main dish or an appetizer, a kebab usually consists of meats like pork, beef, chicken or shrimp. After letting your choice of meat marinate in whatever sauce you choose, you then use a skewer to alternately layer the chunks with different types of vegetables - then grill the "skewered" foods on your Hibachi portable barbecue grill for about 8 minutes per side.

Pancakes, bacon and eggs - For events such as camping trips, this grill is great to use in lieu of the regular messy campfire frying pan method. When you want to whip up a great breakfast of pancakes, bacon and eggs, you simply prepare as normal, then "fry" them up on your table grill, just as you would in a regular pan. In addition to the convenience of keeping everything in one location, you also may find you have less to clean up afterwards!
